Creating a Passion Based Livelihood

Greetings conscious heartfelt leaders, cultural creatives, visionaries, and all those who are sharing their gifts to contribute to the betterment of our world and people.

I am grateful to you for your passionate and purposeful work in the world, and that you have made your way to my mentoring services page.

I had a waking dream that I needed to reach out to you at this time. There is a strong wake up call happening, and it is time for each of us, who are aware of the shifting tide, to get in action.

Have you been on the edge, playing small, afraid to own the incredible possibility of your gifts making big changes on this planet?

I, too, was there not that long ago, and have since found the courage to speak up, to be bold; to face my fears and wounds; recognizing their value in making me who I am.

There is always more work to do…and I am ready to be in service to you at this time in your un-foldment as a leader in your life.

I am passionate about helping you to become a more powerful leader and messenger for a new way of being that is emerging on our planet.

My mentoring program is for you if:

You are always living somewhat on the edge financially, having moments of panic when bills are due, or you believe that money is what’s hindering you from manifesting your dreams.

You feel blocked in your ability to manifest the things that you really care about, perhaps things get muddled and confusing when you take the initial steps to realizing your vision.

You have many great ideas, and bounce around from one thing to another never really accomplishing any one of them fully.

You are a passionate person, who has a picture of how things can be better, and you wonder why people just aren’t getting on board, or seeing it as clearly as you do.

Welcome to leadership. What leadership means to me is that you are just ahead of people on a path who need your ability to see them, and help guide them in moving forward.

Being a few steps ahead on the path means that you are seeing things that others aren’t. It can be scary and challenging to be in the lead. It takes courage and a deep understanding and compassion for yourself and those who are following.

As a radical, skateboarding, surfing, nature loving entrepreneur, a passionate seeker of truth and a better way, I have learned to accept and understand that there are many  challenges that face me as a leader and mentor.

It’s not to say that the path is ever all cupcakes and roses, but it is also no longer like being knocked around in a stormy sea running for cover where there is none.

Where my one on one mentoring program can get you to is:

A place inside yourself where you place full value in who you are and what you offer.

An ability to reach people who are in need of what you offer, so that they value and are deeply grateful for your services.

A prosperity mindset with greater returns of money, time and greater health, so that you can serve more people, while taking really good care of yourself as you share your valuable gifts.

A sense of inner peace, value and grounding, as you successfully manifest your dreams and help others, over and over again.

I like to think of myself as a practical visionary. I have really big visions of a hopeful, thriving and abundant future where people have inner and outer peace and live in balance and harmony with the natural world and each other.

Doesn’t that sound awesome!

I am experienced at holding this bigger visionary picture, and knowing how to trust the next step available, while managing the practical details and manifesting each piece as it comes to me.

This is not an easy thing to do, and it so sad for me to watch people with hopes and visions of a better world get frustrated and confused as they go about manifesting that which they feel so passionate about, only to come up worn out and not fully realized.

About Nicole Young:

I first fledged my entrepreneurial wings at 19, when my twin sister Tiffany and I, catalyzed a women’s skateboarding movement through our production company, Villa Villa Cola. I made a choice in my mid-twenties that I wanted nothing to do with mainstream materialism, and the empty, purposeless lives that I saw others around me living.

Because of this choice I believed that I shouldn’t focus on making money at all, only if out of necessity. I spent the next 3 years of my life learning the ways of survival, tracking and nature, so that I could be free from the world of money and greed that I believed was ruining the world and people. I did effectively learn how to live off the land with just the clothes on my back and a knife, but it became clear quickly that this was a dead end road. I was in a full survival situation and I almost died of dehydration even though there was a large river gushing beside me. I couldn’t drink the water directly because of the affects of people’s disconnection to the planet/that which gives us life. I also realized that I needed people in my life in order to make a difference.

I have since been working with my husband, Jon Young, for the past 10 years to help people re-connect to nature, and to gain a new appreciation and compassion for others and themselves. Through our work together we co-founded the Regenerative Design and Nature Awareness Program with James Stark and Penny Livingston, we also co-founded the 8 Shields Institute with Mark Morey. It is a big vision that we carry, and I have realized that at this time and place money is a great tool for manifesting all that I am called to bring to the world. It’s quite a strange turn in thinking for me, but I struggled for so long just to pay my bills, that I realized a lot of my precious energy was being drained to the very thing that I had renounced in my twenties. Now I see that I give money it’s meaning, and I intend on utilizing it to serve and give to others. What would you do with more money?
