The 8 Shields Institute is interested in taking a small group of people, hand selected from those already committed to this work, and embarking on a personalized journey unlike any offered before.
By working with our 8 Shields mentoring leaders, and choosing from a variety of powerful tools and processes, this program will be completely customized for you. The 8
Shields Institute and Jon Young will go through a customized evaluation beforehand of where you have been, where you are now, and the next best steps on your journey. We will then create a customized mentoring journey with you based on your unique needs and path.
The program includes one on one mentoring with by Jon Young, a personal mentor from the 8 Shields Mentoring team, who will guide you in your nature connection journey, as well as participation in Village Talk with the community of people most closely suited to meet you where you are and share in the process. Depending on your unique journey, the customized part of the program may include but is certainly not limited to, an invitation to join the team on the Origins Project in the Kalahari this Spring, behind the scenes participation in Art of Mentoring, training in a specialized ceremonial-helper program associated with various traditional lineages for healing, grieving, community building and the building of personal leadership on a sacred path such as the Inipi, preparation and/or follow-up on initiatory experiences such as Vision Quest, the Sacred Hunt, the Sacred Fire, and other ceremonial pathways.
